Erick D. Diaz
Erick has provided financial support to FUTURA companies since 2016. He is responsible for the creation and administration of Excel-based financial and valuation models, interrelated with the company’s core philosophy for investment parameters and profitable real estate development criteria.
His experienced and analytical support continues to help expand the company’s vision with specific emphasis on the creation, maintenance and organization of distinctive types of financial models, applicable to the creation of mix-use communities. His work is driven by his in‐depth understanding of financial modeling to future project performance based on JV partnership structures and investment parameters including cash‐on‐cash returns, IRR, and discounted cash flow calculations.
Erick brings 17 years of professional experience in commercial real estate finance and investment underwriting providing financial modeling consulting to FUTURA and to other senior management teams on multiple real estate development and financing transactions with an aggregate value of over $2 billion.
His career has allowed him to embrace different financial analyst positions at various successful real estate development and operating companies, and investment funds such as CBRE Group, Crescent Heights, Penn-Florida Companies, Caribbean Property Group and Ram Realty Services, where he provided assistance in investment underwriting, financing due diligence, market research and asset management for a variety of commercial real estate asset types including multifamily, retail, office, hotel, condo, and land.
Erick graduated with a BBA in Finance and Real Estate from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL in 2002.
